Let‘s pack our bags….

Have to bring a dinner jacket? Or the platform shoes? NO
You are on holiday!
Just take comfortable leisure wear for the evenings and even more comfortable
clothes for the riding.

Here you can find some advises what to bring:
If you just start with the riding and want to try our beginner program you do not need “complete riding equipment”. Long comfortable pair of trousers without a hard fissure on the inside and a pair of boots (over the ankle for better hold) are sufficient.
You can use one of the helmets from La Paz.
When you go on long trails you have to feel comfortable – even in Andalusia where we have the extremes: a good sun care in august and a good raincoat in January are a must to enjoy the riding.
Inform yourself about the weather forecast in Andalusia during your stay – here we also have the change of climate and have to adapt us.
In general you should bring a good raincoat during the winter months (not too big as some horses do not like the flagging) and a pair of boots or shoes to change.
In the mountains it can become very windy and fresh. A warm jacket or sweater should not miss.
In spring time and autumn the weather can change a few times during one day – in the nights it becomes fresh and windy, at midday it can be very warm – be prepared with a t-shirt, a sweater and jacket for any temperature.
In summer it becomes very hot. A good sun care is a must have: to ride without a headdress is just carelessness – a good sun cream, sunglasses and a long shirt should also be with you.
High leather boots for the riding take a lot of place in your bag and get very warm in summer and uncomfortable when you have to walk a bit. Long or short chaps in combination with half-boots are proved and tested.
Another advice: new riding clothes and boots or shoes should always be tested before at home to beware of chafe marks (a personal tip: when it happened – a pair of tights makes marvel..)
A bum bag for personal things (sun cream, small change etc) is very handy and does not disrupt the riding. Taking big knapsacks while riding is not just very uncomfortable but also dangerous.
Take your personal first-aid kid with your known medicaments. (Please inform your guides when you depend on medication so they know what to do if necessary).
Here in Spain you mostly do not find a hair dryer in the hotels but you have everywhere towels and bedclothes included. For the beach o swimming pool you should bring your bath towel.
