In addition to our weekly programs, we also offer individual trail rides for anyone vacationing here on the Costa del Sol. These take place daily in the morning and afternoon.

Experienced trail riders will discover the sure-footedness of Spanish horses during approximately 2-hour rides through the mountainous hinterland of the Costa del Sol. You will ride in a simplified “Doma Vaquera” style, neck-reining (one-handed) at a walk and canter, and you will be thrilled by the responsiveness and willingness of the horses. 

For those with no previous experience, our highly reliable trail horses are waiting to show you their homeland on safe paths and at a peaceful pace. Let yourself be carried over mountains and through valleys, in the shade of eucalyptus, pine, and cypress trees, and enjoy the views over the Costa del Sol and all the way to the coast of Africa.

The rides take place daily in the morning and afternoon and last about 2 hours

General

You should be physically fit and wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots for riding. We provide riding helmets on-site. The maximum rider weight limit is 90 kg (198 lbs).
Riding, like all sporting activities, is always at your own risk.
You will ride Spanish geldings and mares with Spanish saddles and one-handed on a hackamore.
