Pure Andalusia- Horse riding, beach, white villages, majestic horses and flamenco –
the “best of” in one week!
On extended rides through the mountains of Mijas, little paths, eucalyptus trees and valleys, in which the oleander blooms even throughout the beginning of summer.
A day-ride to the inland with great views over to the African costs and a picnic in the shadow.
One highlight is the posibility of a ride at the extensive beach of the Atlantic Ocean.
The horse riding is complemented by strolls through the white villages and an Andalusian horse show.
Saturday: Arrival and dinner with a presentation of the program.
Sunday: In the morning and afternoon, you will explore the surrounding of the Rancho in a two hours ride, through stone pine forests and goat tracks to viewpoints, offering magnificent views
over the Costa del Sol. Lunch will be prepared on the Rancho and in summer time there’ll be a long siesta break at the pool.
Monday: One ride in the morning. After lunch you’ll drive to the white village Mijas, famous for its donkey taxis, little shops and cafés. Through small alleys, traditionally decorated with colorful
flowerpots, you’ll get to the most beautiful viewpoints, churches and other attractions. You will have dinner at the Rancho.
Tuesday: For a lot of you a ride on the beach is a highlight ( not included) and today you get the possibility to make it come true.. After breakfast you drive along the Costa del Sol, cross Marbella, Estepona, the historic rock of Gibraltar and by good weather enjoy fantastic views over the coasts of Africa. You cross Tarifa where the Atlantic invites for rides on the sandy beach and in the shadow of pine trees or opened fields. Except during the summer months you will just cross some local fisher men and cows enjoying the warm sand. You can use the afternoon to enjoy a typical fish restaurant and visit Tarifa, the southernst point of Europe with the option of some wale watching.( rent a car recommended).
Or you use the day for some rides in the surrounds of the ranch, a walk in the mountains or an extra riding lesson. Dinner at the ranch.
Wednesday: You’ll have a ride in the morning and you can admire the climbing skills of the horses once more. After lunch, you’ll drive to a Spanish horse show, where you get the chance to see the
majestic Spanish horses in typical disciplines. Apart from the haute école and the horses being worked in hand on the ground, and of course Doma Vaquera will not be missing. You’ll have dinner at the Rancho.
Thursday: After breakfast, you’ll start the day trail – first you go down in direction to the coast to get then in the inland of Mijas. You will follow small paths and climb up some mountains to get beautiful views over to the costs of Africa. On the way you have a picnic under some eucalytus before you start your way back home.
Friday: Today you have time to relax – or at the pool, or on a walk up to Mijas or just calm down a bit . In the afternoon you have your last ride under the sunset. The dinner will take place at the Rancho.
Saturday: Departure.

General
This program is for experienced riders who want a complete program but even some time to relax and have time to calm down.
This program can be combined with any program of La Paz.
Minimum of 6 clients to take place.
On arrival and departure is no riding program.
You ride with andalusian mares and geldings in spanish saddles with long stirrups and hackamore on one hand; a very easy and comfortable way of riding for riders and horses. You ride in walk or canter.
You should have good riding experience in country rides and be able to have a horse under control in all gates ( canters standing in the saddle) and be able to get on and off the horse without help.
Weight limit 95kg with complete riding clothes
About 4 to 6 hours riding
On the day trail you have to walk some parts (comfortable shoes)
Arrival and departure
We offer pic ups from and to Malaga aerport. ( 07.00h-20.00hEuro 40,- / car and 20.00h-07.00h Euro 50,- / car).
We recommend a rent a car for more flexibility even for the beach ride as also for a visit to the coast or the beach nearby.
Services
8 days / 7 nights in double room, single room with supplement, full board ( table wine included), riding as in discription, German and English speaking guide, horse with equipment
Not included: beach day, personal insurence (riding, as all kind of sport activity, is under your own responsability and you should take care to have a valid insurence)
Riding experience:
You are safe in the handling of a horse and have the necessary riding experience in outside rides to have your horse in all gates in a group safe under control, you can mount and dismount without help and you are able to stand up in the stirrups during the canters and longer climbing parts in the mountains to help your horse. Some parts you have to walk ( comfortable shoes)
The maximum weight of the rider is 95 kilos with complete riding clothes
